Seiko WorldTime GMT Vintage Reference 6117-6400 Rare Error Bezel

This piece is a must have for any Seiko enthusiast and/or vintage collector and would make an amazing and practical GADA daily for its future owner. These rarely come up for sale here in Australia and much less often are offered in this sort of condition. Circa 1970, the watch presents in STUNNING vintage condition with just being serviced and keeping excellent time and appears to have still retained it's original factory high polish with few signs of wear that are far less than what would be expected for a watch of this age.

The internal worldtime bezel rotates freely and perfectly a full 360 degrees in either direction via crown operation in the first position. The movement and internal case show no signs of rust, pitting, or water ingress and with all rubber gaskets accounted for (although I can not guarantee water resistance as with any vintage piece).

It has also just been fitted with a brand new period and reference correct acrylic plexiglass glass crystal that allows for perfectly clear viewing of the gorgeous dial. Tritium markers on the hands and dial plots are all original, still perfect, and illuminate briefly upon exposure to UV light.

The previously mentioned "error" bezel is actually not an error at all. Don't miss out on an opportunity to own a fine example of one of the most desirable references that Seiko has ever produced!
