Description Gentlemen's Rolex Explorer II in stainless steel with beautiful white'Polar' dial. Discontinued in 2011, we have watched prices for this model rise recently and fully expect them to continue to do so over the coming years. Case Stainless steel 40mm case in mint condition with engraved 24 hr bezel and polished case sides. Very little signs of refinishing as case sides and bezel are still nice and crisp.

Dial & Crystal Perfect, bright white dial with applied luminous hour markers &'Mercedes' hands. 2nd hour hand for alternate time-zone setting. Dial is signed "Rolex Oyster Perpetual Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" with'Swiss Made at 6 o'clock. Sapphire crystal is perfect with no marks or blemishes of any kind. Bracelet/Strap Again, mint condition stainless steel'Oyster' bracelet with fliplock deployant clasp.

Very little play/stretch at all on this bracelet - it really is almost as new' and not the usual'tired' or heavily used bracelets we often see. For most of the watch's previous ownership it was worn on a rubber strap. Bracelet will currently fit approx 7.5 wrist or can be adjusted (additional links available at trade cost).

Movement Certified Chronometer, self-winding/automatic movement (calibre 3185) in excellent, all original condition. It does however come with the dark green/beige presentation box shown in the final image.
