RARE Mens 42MM Victorinox Automatic 24832 Airboss MACH 5 GMT World Time Watch
This super rare Victorinox Swiss Air Force Airboss MACH 5 GMT watch is the perfect gift for the watch lover. The Victorinox Airboss MACH 5 is one of the rarer watches in the Swiss Army Airboss line, and it is the only watch in the line to feature dual time zones. It is powered by a beautifully decorated 21 jewel ETA 2893-2 GMT movement. You can see the Cotes de Geneve and pelage through the exhibition back. The lower of the two crowns adjusts the time and date.
The upper crown is marked "CITY" and adjusts the city / time zone ring. I love the way the cities and time zones can be lined up to tell time around the world. It was useful for the times I had to call my tech support guys in London, because it would allow me to see what time it was there (and if I could expect them to answer my call or not). I also used it to see what time it was for my clan-mates in Clash of Clans, because I was in an Australian clan.
I chose the black dial, because I value a watch that I can ready easily and quickly. I found the 43mm size to be just right for my wrist. It's big enough to have a nice presence, but it's not so big to be obnoxious. I received complements on the watch all the time (pun intended). This is a pre-owned watch with some light scratches on the watch and the creases on the black leather band.
The scratches are not very noticeable from a few feet away, and I've tried to show them in the pictures. I liked this watch a lot and wore it regularly for a while so there are scratches on the watch. But don't worry, now you won't feel bad when you make your own personalizing marks on the watch when you wear it.
The watch is in good used condition and keeps good time. The included original box and manuals are in excellent shape as well. Unfortunately I've been wearing my Samsung Galaxy watch. So the Airboss MACH 5 watch has not gotten any wrist time at all from me in a while.
